It got down to 11 this morning, pipes are frozen. But plumber is coming in a day or so! Keeping my prayers spoken and fingers crossed!!!

North ATL has 15-30 days max of bitter cold in winter and about 6 weeks of really hot summer but the rest is all mild moderate .I lived in FL for 20 yrs it sucks.

loving it. been here full time 3 years, part time for 8. hated going north it was cold even in may.. heat yes. but al least no snow to shovel. humidity gets bad but only in summer for a few months. opposites of winter up north. winter you freeze and have to plan around the bad weather.. in the south just get in the car.. not a problem. get in the house. not a problem. yeah not a lot of outdoors in august and sept and oct but its not statis every year.. hurricanes yes but the past few years were manufactured and far worse .. we oved inland a little and find it less draining to worry about the hurricanes taking us out.. stay away from mobile homes tho.. a constant worry. come on down. will show you around.. and the people???????the friendliest i have ever met... (compared to new england anything is a comparison for the better).
