The umbilical cord has a valve in it that will shut when the baby has received all that it needs. You can tell when this happens because the cord has a pulse, and when it quits pulsating it can safely be clamped, and the afterbirth delivered.
Both cord and afterbirth can be frozen for future use, and is not type specific, so anyone can use it if you see fit to give it away.

one of the most heart felt moments when i heard this. explains why a mother is always a mother and loves her children no matter what.. with problems i am having i have shared this information with my children to help them understand why i still want communication and will help them in anyway.. not as control but asistance when they need it to always make their lives better if they want it.. that it is their journey but my love will always be there.. no matter what path they chose..

Double ditto.....my grown up babies always call me and say "Mom I really need to talk to u, alone just us" My babies know that I will help them with anything....sometimes I tell them I am not happy about your choices but I love and support u.....my grand-daughter just ask me for $$$ for college....she was so sweet about it...told her u know Grandma always pays for school.....That love and support always make children feel safe and secure....IMO....

I understand.
It doesn't make sense to those ho aren't walking in the Lord. My sisters blamed me when they felt convicted by God..
I didn't even know what was going on!
I finally learned when accused of judging said..Your fight is with the Lord ask Him! I didn't know about the abortions!
Putting it back on them and not taking what they dumped helped them rethink what they thought I thought.
