If you have the luxury of thinking addicts are lowlife scums who chose their addiction, remember to thank your Higher Self that you have no idea what this life is like. One thing you never want to do is watch someone you love, who has fought so hard to beat addiction, throw everything away and sink back into a life that will most likely lead to jail or death. You want to grab them and shake them and scream, "What are you doing?!?!" but, at some point, you realize it wouldn't make a bit of difference. So, you sit back and watch the tragedy unfold, as if you are watching a movie.

Feeling helpless to stop it, feeling like you haven't done enough to help, even though you know, only the addict can help themselves. Battling addiction is a beast for the person addicted, and for the ones who love them. l am asking you to stand with me in support of every family member, loved one, and friend who has lost or is losing their battle with drugs, alcohol or other addictions and for those who continue to conquer it!

luckily there is a cure for this. its called God loves you.. i know of a guy who is honest about it and struggles i know every day.. he really is trying and working hard.. a ways to go but clean for 7 years. still afraid of going backwards. may God bless him every day. that was his cure.. he changed cause he wanted to get out of it... many get hooked accidentally by docs giving them all they need for years and building up the intolerance for decades. they should be arrested for slow death events such as this.. its aweful and even the meek can get caught in it.. blessings Dale.. for making this known to all
