I am still in a lot of pain at the sternum and incision site, but they tell me that's normal. all the nerves are healing and they had me spread wide open for the surgery" Also feeling tons of anxiety lately too. They are switching me off the beta blocker( metoprolol) they have me on because causing many side effects and going to a different beta blocker (Carvedilol) for time being, the lowest dose that can be prescribed, which is 3.125mg. I am supposed to start cardio rehab 12/4/2024, which Dr believes will help sternum and muscles to loosen up some and maybe feel better" I am hanging in there, however has been an overwhelming process to say the least" Thank You for asking & your concerns Fren"
