How cool is this? Just BORAX and water!!

All you need is one ingredient: borax (from the laundry detergent aisle), and add some boiling water. Use a ratio of 1.5 cups borax to 4 cups hot water to make a super saturated solution and whisk to dissolve. Then submerge your items in the solution: we did orange slices, pinecones and evergreen pieces. After about an hour, we pulled them out (I liked the look of them just barely crystallized!) and lay on a towel to dry.

Awesome! I think I'll do this with the little grands this weekend when they come up to visit the farm here :-) Always try to do a little project for that extra gramma bonding time when they visit. Thanks for sharing
