Ifn you live in California and are on Medicare because of age and someone calls you and offers a monthly grocery card for 200 bucks, they’re trying to sign you up for medical that signs over everything you own to the state

How do you mean?
I got the card (cc) and I've not used it yet. Or are you referring to Medicare or Medicaid?

Medicaid, once you signed up, if you’re hospitalized they can take everything for the state. But I think it’s Medical. It’s made for indigent but people Who sign up don’t have anything. If you own anything and you signed up, the state takes everything away if you can’t pay
