to record the conversation with the person
that was trying to extort them.

I don't know who's who in this movie.. I understand that Congress has a secret fund to pay off any claimant of sexual misconduct and those payments remain secret. I just read an article that said once a member is no longer a member of Congress, all investigations are sealed. Boy they have that crap covered.. 😈
