I'm seeing some current parallels with the biblical story of Exodus:

The Israelites were doomed, being trapped between the Egyptian army and the sea. The Red Sea was divided, and the Israelites fled—but the Egyptians went after them. When the Israelites had been miraculously saved, the Red Sea crashed in to destroy the Egyptians, and the slaves were freed.

In 2020, Trump was doomed, being trapped between either inciting a civil war or letting a coup succeed. The population was divided, and Trump walked away—but the deep state went after him. He was miraculously saved from every attack, and the "Red Wave" crashed in to destroy the deep state. The wage slaves are about to be freed.
