The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and the New Testament in Greek; a few sections in Aramaic. The Bible we have needs to be read and studied to realize that it is one whole inspired work telling a harmonious story about Jesus Christ the Messiah. Translations have been doctored by "Jews" but the clear, revealed and life-changing story has remained for the most part. Please read the Bible you have first.

Doesn't this notion, quite popular in some circles, suggest that the RCC (the power on this earth clearly identified in the sister prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation as the little horn/antichrist/beast) is more powerful than God?
Should we really believe that God wouldn't (and couldn't?!) watch over His WORD to protect it, keeping ALL of it's *essential* doctrines, history, and prophesies "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" unto salvation fully intact and available to His children?

That idea just seems silly to me.

Whose interests would that idea actually serve? Couldn't be God's as it makes Him appear weak and not in charge of His own book.

Who would be interested in making the Bible appear insufficient for our edification unto salvation and thus enticing as many as possible to then goosechase all manner of "secret" "hidden" books and "knowledge"?

Didn't the serpent in the garden suggest the same idea?

What is coming is TRUTH, whatever the TRUTH IS, and when the veil is lifted there will be no denying it and I for one am looking forward to spending years reading the complete BIBLE translated directly from Aramaic NOT LATIN because Aramaic was the primary language that Yeshua spoke. There are many meanings lost in anything that would be translated from 4 languages, Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English we need Aramaic to English, and that is the translation I want to be reading, every Book of The Bible not just some.

This of course is a personal choice. I am only stating my personal perspective, and I don't expect others to have that same perspective.

God is Omnipotent so your point is well taken. God has not been weakened, fooled or restrained by anyone or anything. That is an immutable truth about Him. The Bible we have represents what He has protected for thousands of years. He wrote all of the books except the letters published by Paul and apostles. He spoke to each historical and prophetic writer and they wrote what He told them to write. All of the Word is protected by Him, even if it was altered He allowed it for spiritual reasons.

Moreover, the Word has two senses, the literal sense for people on Earth has many scriptures that are impossible to understand; the internal sense for angels in Heaven in the ancient symbolic language of correspondences. Ol cowboy is right saying all will be revealed because God is revealing the angelic meanings now since this country began under Nunc Licet (now it is revealed).
