The Japan Ministry of Defence, French Ministry of Armed Forces, German Ministry of Defence and ISL have signed on 30 May 2024 an agreement paving the way for cooperation on railgun technologies.
The agreement is intended to explore the possibility of collaborating for research, development, test and evaluation of railgun technologies by facilitating the information exchange and technical meetings among the four parties.
