This billion-dollar project is a collaboration between Bill Gates and Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik, with 40 acres already secured for a major transformation of Water Street in downtown Tampa.
Adding to the intrigue, over a decade ago, Gates, along with 13 other inventors, filed a patent for "hurricane prevention methods," earning him the nickname "the hurricane tamer."
