Had to share this today as well...
What would you make with these? Next year we will fertilize them more and put some sugar down to sweeten them! They are a little bitter! More still on the vine too!
Grape Juice, Raisins, or Jam or Jelly?

Grapes tend to get more flavorful when frozen, they really are best that way. I buy tons when they are on sale hoping to have enough for all winter... they never last that long!

These grapes are new to us, I must try to find out more about them. I did not plant them. They might be a wine variety but I have no idea. They were bitter though and so sugar was used to sweeten them for grape juice. I really don't know much about grapes.

Wild grapes are best for jelly or wine. Some of the concord varieties are super good eating, slip the skins off, that's where the bitterness comes from.
I planted bluebell grapes in the garden this year, they are like eating candy.. oh so good. But they aren't producing much this year, root growth the first year. Can't wait until they really start producing. Then I'm going to pack my freezer with them!
