I really don't understand what this is actually displaying. How could the dollar supply jump 73 billion over night? The other thing that is odd, the actual price of gold and silver is down today.

what you are referring to as "the actual price of gold and silver ..." is in reality the SUPPRESSED / controlled market price NOT the actual TRUE PRICE.
