So to answer your question, "Why would they lie?" because they're the DEEP STATE! All they DO is LIE! To suppress INFORMATION! When REAL science PROVED that THEY were FULL of SHIT! They locked up ANYONE that EXPOSED them of THEIR LIES! And often had them killed. Remember the domino experiment? It proved that there IS orbit! It PROVED that WE ARE spinning! And IF the Earth is flat... How come NOTHING ELSE is flat? The sun is ROUND, the MOON, is ROUND, Other PLANETS are ROUND! But Earth is flat? Bullshit!
