Outage been going on here in West Aust last 3+ hours, & trying to find even local updates isn’t easy. Local radio giving half hourly updates but nothing online with MSM sites in the first 2-3 hours. The ‘experts’ are reporting they expect several more hours of the current status/outage.
Thankfully, our emergency services phone line 000 is still open/working, & traffic lights are all operational too, (here in Perth at least)… This is a good sign.
Problem said to be linked to a 3rd Party Cloud/data Platform outage that’s hampered ‘Cloud Operations’ of these businesses.
Will be interesting to see how the next few hours play out with many here going into a Fri night & weekend without access to standard services, including their bank &/or ability to get cashout.
