Dear builders of America. Please STOP knocking down and burning ๐Ÿ”ฅ all the oxygen makers!! You don't need to raze all the trees for your way overpriced (Starting in the low $300s) cookie cutter box homes 10ft from each other. You're raping the Earth for money!! Vile and stupid!! What are you going to breathe??

In case you can't tell, your post hit a nerve..

As a builder, don't attack us for building your home and fixing them. If you and many others kept up on them they would last longer thus saving treas.
There has been a huge decline in tradesmen as people have turned to less strenuous work. As a builder, I break my back and risk injury and death on a regular basis.
As a builder I constantly learn new forms of new ways of construction, my schooling never ends. My degree is higher than any attorney, doctor or salesman.
Building with wood is good for the environment as it is biodegradable, helps thin forests to prevent major wildfires. After trees are cut they are replanted. Tree's used by lumber companies are harvested like a crop, not destroyed by neglect and wildfires.
Please learn more about the construction industry before giving us a bad name. I strive to build beautiful homes for people to live in. I don't control the cost of the land, materials, fees, permits, taxes, utilities and so on that make them so expensive.

Goo

Geeze, don't be so defensive. Are YOU knocking down all the trees? I am not knocking tradesmen. I was married to a carpenter/builder and a mason, but they didn't knock down all of the trees. You can build homes without doing that.

Sorry not trying to sound defensive I even said please. Text doesn't really show emotions .Just trying to explain to people that builders are not trying to decimate the tree population, we actually are considerate and try to grow more trees. Trees are a renewable resource and as a builder we install energy efficient heating systems that don't use wood for fuel.
Have a great day ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Yep, California, Oregon and Washington have too many restrictions but Idaho is more accommodating for people to live off grid and in a situation like you're looking for. So many different beautiful parts of this state and many Republicans are flocking to that state it was the number one growing state for a while.

Thanks!
I was looking at the Amish cabins that can be placed on lot, heard there were some builders in MT. Do you construct 'traveling homes'?
The tiny homes prices are ballooned.
I was even looking just for a transportable 'shell' that could be filled w/ just the basics.
Even something that could be connected to utilities as an option.
Appreciate ur Info :)

Yes I do all kinds of construction residential and commercial with over 35 years of experience.
I've been so booked with work I'm not taking on any new jobs tell sometime next year.
It seems there is a shortage of contractors everywhere
