Yes, I hear ya. I feel sick to my stomach a lot.
But consider this:
When I learned world history and read books on it, it was well known that ancient societies, the Egyptians, Aztecs and others all did human sacrifices.
The dang perverts chose virgins and I once read that the poor widdle Aztecs had to eat the sacrificed victims because they had a scarcity of protein. (the Aztec's disgusting 'crimes' were justified - by a modern pervert writer, I guess)
Interesting to see movies where the 'high priest' has a victim on the alter and he tears out his heart while the victim is still alive, then holds it up for all the people, a crazed audience and they cheer because the heart is still pumping.
Sorry - probably too much. I learned to face evil when I studied - interned at a mental hospital. I couldn't have stayed there if I hadn't been able to face the things the patients did.
So I forced myself to face evil. It prepared me for now.
