Moved my accn't from a small rural town Fed Bank literally next door to my local State Bank (w/ 2 branches!) over a year ago.
Didn't know exactly why but somehow I just KNEW it was a good decision. Something about the states being of higher authority than the Fed gov ... just knew it was the right place to be when things got dicey. A good solid little rural county farming community w/ a good sheriff who very clearly *serves* the people who elect him to office.
Very cool ... get out of the cities people.
