I did an experiment 25 years ago. When a plane flew over my house, I could follow it for about 1 hour with binoculars until the plane was just above the horizon. An airplane flies about 850 km per hour. According to the curvature of the earth calculation, the plane should have disappeared about 50 km below the horizon. That was not the case, because I could still see it through my binoculars. Do the test yourself and see the result. So is the earth round or flat?
