You see, this is EXACTLY why the Military also should open it's ranks to us ol' timer fellas, just the same. First of all, we ol' timers are already as familiar with firearms as we are with our shaving razors, those of us who still take the energy to shave. Most of us need bifocals to read a book, true, but we can still shoot the eye out of a bird flyin'. Then, they can order us to guard anything, from a power transformer to the Southern Border and we will stay put and sure as hell won't turn yellowtail & run, for one reason, most of us got bad knees. On top of that, we ol' timers grew up off-roading, driving like Dukes of Hazzard and have or had CDLs so running a HMMWV or HEMTT is like ridin' a bicycle. Some of us even got pilots licenses so might as well have us fly into battle cuz we are itchin' for an adrenaline rush and need twice the G's to get it! And since most of us would do it for food & coffee they'd save tons of money, too. 😂
