The entire Jewish religion consists of loopholes where they can violate God’s laws while technically being in compliance with it.
This probably explains why Jews have a reputation for being such good lawyers.
In the Jewish faith, Jews cannot leave their homes and engage in normal activities during the Sabbath.
However, if they tie a string around the lampposts, then the public sidewalks can technically be considered “inside” their home. Therefore they can walk around the streets of New York or London without violating Sabbath laws
Look at the string network they tied around all of Manhattan in New York City.
It sounds insane, but this is actually real.
Every major city is enclosed with these strings, and every week the Rabbi carefully checks these strings to make sure they’re not damaged.
