Psalm 27:12–13 says, “Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Despite false witnesses and threats of violence, David believed in God's goodness. He encourages us also to trust in His strength. Our last hope can be our best hope. God can provide a way out when we place it in God's hands, even in our darkest moments. Let us hold onto faith and find our hope in God's redemption.
