You Too Will Change

Today, as we behold the incredible victory that Jesus Christ won on the cross, we start to realize that the promises of God are for us, and the power of God is there to make these promises a reality.

We begin to change by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Little by little, step by step, we become more like the person that God created us to be and destined us to be. It’s then that we can start to tell others that we aren’t who we are because of human effort.

We’re not who we are because of the resolutions that we have made. We are who we are because of the presence of God that lives inside of us. So when you choose to believe God and you long in your heart to see this new life that God has promised you, you too will change into the person that God has called you to be.

Ask Him about it today. He’s willing to talk to you.

Believe What He Has Spoken

Luke 1:38. “Then Mary said, ‘Behold the maidservant of the Lord. Let it be to me according to Your word.’” This is where everything changes. When you and I stop resisting what God is speaking and simply agree with Him, His power begins to work in us.

Mary’s words carried the faith that births miracles. God is still looking today for hearts willing to say the same. His promises are not limited by your ability or lack thereof, your past, or even your understanding.

They are fulfilled by your agreement with Him. “Be it done to you according to His Word,” not according to your weakness or doubt. The moment you and I say yes, the Holy Spirit within us begins to move in miracles.

Let faith today replace hesitation, and obedience replace fear. Believe today what God has been speaking to you about your future.

Psalm 40:1–3. David says, “I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, established my steps, and put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God”.

David faced jealousy, betrayal, threats, and even his own failings, yet he found strength and the ability to praise even before the victory came. God shielded him from criticism, showed him kindness, and ultimately gave him a new song.

In the Bible, Zacharias had prayed for a child years before, and when it finally happened, he could hardly believe it. God’s answer came long after the prayer was spoken, but it actually came right on time.

Sometimes we think silence means that God has forgotten, but He hasn’t. Heaven is never late. There are prayers that you have prayed that are still alive today before the throne of God, even long after you thought you had forgotten them.

He waits for the moment that will bring Him the greatest glory and bring you the deepest joy. Don’t give up today just because time has passed. What feels delayed is often being prepared for a greater purpose.

Did you know that you’ve been given a word to speak, a sword to carry, and an influence to exert in your community and your world? Empowered by the Holy Spirit, your testimony reflects the truth that Jesus Christ has become your wisdom, your righteousness, your power, and your redemption.

Rejoice in the presence of God and the life that He has given you. Don’t be afraid of opposition. Your name is already written in God’s Book of Life. Heaven is already your home. And a mansion, according to Jesus, is now being prepared for you, a place where you will dwell for eternity.

You will rule and reign with Jesus Christ. Stay strong, stay courageous, and know that God has not given you a spirit of fear. Trust in His power within you and embrace the future He has for your life with the deepest confidence.

If You Want To Be Changed

Some people want to change. They want to become a better person. They’re trying to change, but they find that they’re getting worse. You know, Paul the Apostle said, “I know in the inner man what to do, and I delight in the thought of doing it, but I find another law inside of me warring against this law in my mind.”

He goes on to define it as “the law of sin and death.” He concludes his essay, in a sense, by saying, “Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” And he finishes with one statement: “I thank God through Jesus Christ, my Lord.”

In other words, there is deliverance through Jesus Christ. If you want to be changed, you need the power of God’s Holy Spirit, who comes into your life when you open your heart and accept the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross for your sins.

According To Your Word

When God speaks to you, it will always involve something beyond your own strength to accomplish. This is how He reveals His glory. Zacharias looked at his weakness and determined that it was too late.

But God was never asking for his ability, only for his faith. Mary had no power to bring her promise to life, yet she said yes, and the Holy Spirit came upon her. The same Spirit of God now lives in you.

God still overshadows human weakness and brings forth what only He can produce. He is not waiting today for your perfection; He is waiting for your surrender. When you offer to Him today what little you have, His power overshadows it with His purpose.

Say to Him today what Mary once said, “Be it done to me according to Your word” (Luke 1:38). Talk to God about it.

Make Wrong Things Right

Ephesians 6:2–3 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise, “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

There comes a moment when God calls us to make wrong things right. Sometimes it begins with repentance. Maybe you never valued someone who has sacrificed for you, or perhaps you failed to honor the one who helped shape you.

God still gives us the chance to obey, because honor still brings blessing. When we choose to do what He says, peace in our hearts begins to flow again. Obedience always opens the door to favor. Make the choice today that leads to life.

When Mary entered Elizabeth’s home, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb leaped for joy. The Holy Spirit filled her, and she began to speak with a loud voice, blessing Mary for believing what the Lord had spoken.

Meanwhile, Zacharias, the high priest, stood silent. He once taught others, but now he had lost his own voice because of unbelief. Yet God is merciful. When Zacharias finally agreed with the Word of God and wrote on a tablet, his name is John, his mouth was opened and his tongue was loosed.

Praise returned where unbelief had silenced him. Faith always gives birth to a brand-new song. When you agree with God, heaven’s power begins to move again in your life. Let the words you speak today line up with what He has promised.

Believe, agree, and praise Him openly.

Some Things Don't Die Very Graciously

The promise of God is freedom in Jesus Christ. However, sometimes we get discouraged when it does not happen instantly. I battled with fear for nine years and was delivered in one minute.

But I cannot say that everything else in my life went as fast as fear did. Some of the other things took a long time. There needs to be an embracing of God’s Word, a longing in the heart that says, this is what my life should be.

An embracing of the promises that even though you have not arrived where you ought to be, Paul the Apostle said, I am leaving behind those things that need to be left behind, and I am going to press forward to the high calling of God.

You know, some things do not die very graciously, but the truth of the gospel is that in time, they do lose their hold and they do pass away. Embrace the Word of God and continue to press forward.

After World War II, my father came home to a broken world and an empty wallet. There was no money for university and no chance to chase the dream he once had. So he took a humble job in a mine and began saving what little he earned for my future.

He gave up his own dream so that I could have one. That quiet sacrifice reminds me of God the Father, who gave us His Son while we were still ungrateful. The world may overlook such faithfulness, but heaven never does.

Listen for His whisper in the quiet places. And when He speaks to you, move in the direction of where He is leading. Because every time you say yes to God, His presence will grow stronger in your life.

His Promises Are Not Empty Words

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

God’s Word is His bond. What He says, He will do. He is never late, and He never fails.

Now, we may grow impatient, but He arrives just on time. His promises are not empty words written just to fill the pages of Scripture. They are, in fact, the living declarations of a faithful God. I have learned that His timing is perfect, even when it does not match mine.

So when you call out to Him, start trusting that He is already at work even before your prayer finishes leaving your lips. He will come through because He cannot lie. Wait on Him today.

And know that He will keep His Word to you. His promises can be trusted.

Character Still Matters

My father used to tell me that a man is only as good as his word. He used to say, “If a man’s word can’t be trusted, then the man himself cannot be trusted.” Those words ring true because they echo the very heart of God.

His Word defines who He is. If we say we follow Him, then our words should carry weight as well. Keep your promises. Let your yes be yes, and let your no be no, because character despite what society tries to tell us still matters.

Integrity is not outdated. It is the reflection of who God is in us. Live in such a way that your word is true. Your word can be trusted. Your word has integrity. And your word, above all else, brings honor to the name of Jesus Christ as your Lord and your Savior.

When I think about my father’s life, I see what it means to live for a cause that is greater than yourself. He had dreams of being an architect, a builder, an inventor, but he laid it all down in World War II as a volunteer to fight for the freedom of others.

His sacrifice reminds me of Christ, who left heaven to redeem those who could not save themselves. There is an enemy who still seeks to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Yet God has given you and me words of life and the power to stand in prayer.

You know, you and I do not fully appreciate the cross at times. We speak of it, we sing of it, yet we rarely fully grasp the cost. Christ took our sin, our shame, our separation, and bore it all so that we could live.

And even when we fail to appreciate that love, He keeps saving, He keeps restoring, and He keeps forgiving. His love never stops reaching for us. Thank God that Jesus does not grow tired of giving. Thank God that His mercy is still new every morning.

Take a moment today to truly thank Him for the cross, to remember what He endured so that you and I could live free. Gratitude is, in fact, the true doorway to worship. My brother, my sister, take time today to thank Jesus Christ for what He has done for you.

The Journey To Confidence

The journey to confidence in God is not always easy. It passes through valleys of sorrow, through seasons of difficulty, but it’s in those very places that God writes a song on your heart.

This is not a song learned from lyrics on a page. It’s a song actually written by God Himself, a song that remains even when the ground beneath you gives way. A song that carries you when your own thoughts falter, but His thoughts alone are keeping you steady.

And when that confidence in God takes root, it’s no longer just something you feel. It’s something that people around you start to see. They see the way you stand firm, the way you walk with assurance, the way your life sings of God’s faithfulness, even without words.

Trust today that He’s writing His song within you, a song that will carry you through every season and be a testimony to those around you.

True humility is not weakness. It is strength under the control of love. My father returned from the war to find his own dreams gone, but then he began to save for mine. He wanted me to have what he had lost, and he never stopped giving, even when I didn’t appreciate it or understand it.

That’s the heart of Christ, who poured Himself out so that you and I might live. When others fail to appreciate your love, keep giving anyway. Love that expects nothing in return, in its action, reflects the very heart of God.

Romans 8:38–39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor things present nor things to come, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

True worship isn’t just a song but it’s a life so surrendered to God that His presence radiates from within us. It’s a confidence deeper than words, a trust that exudes from our very being.

When the world is shaken, you remain steady, not governed by fear, circumstance, or the voices of darkness, but governed by the unchanging promises of God. This is the confidence that God gives to His people, a faith so immovable that others can literally see it, a worship so deep that it silences fear.

Stand firm today. Trust fully. Let your life be a song that draws others to Jesus Christ.

Psalm 139:23 says these powerful words: “Search me, O God, and know my heart.”

This serves as a powerful reminder to constantly seek God’s insight. It’s crucial not to assume that our actions, thoughts, or directions in life are always right. Often, self-reflection may lead to a misleading sense of confidence, making it easy to overlook the deeper issues within our own hearts.

Instead, it’s essential to invite God to search our hearts and examine our ways. We should ask Him to reveal anything in us that needs to change, and then guide us toward the everlasting path, recognizing that the principles we teach to others also apply to ourselves.

This recognition is vital. Invite the Holy Spirit to search your heart and your life today, ensuring that you and I remain aligned with His truth.

Worship Without Words

David knew that he couldn’t escape the situation he was in on his own. Whether it was depression, fear, or failure, he simply cried out and when he did, God lifted him. He set him on solid ground and gave him a new future.

Then God put a new song in his mouth, a song not just heard, but seen. When you and I have confidence in God, it becomes a worship that doesn’t even need words. It’s something that flows from our very being.

Our lives become a testimony. Walk in that song today so that others may see and believe.

Maybe Today Is The Day

Maybe today is the day that something stirs in your heart. You might not understand it all, but something deep inside is telling you that there’s more to life and that there’s a God who sees you, knows you, and loves you.

The message of Jesus is this: He came into the world to make a way for us to be right with God. We’ve all done wrong things you and I are not proud of and those things separate us from the life God wants for us.

But Jesus gave His life to pay for those things that separate us from God. He died so that we could be forgiven and start anew with a clean heart, a new life, and a fresh purpose.

You don’t need fancy words just be honest. If you believe this is true in your heart, you can tell Jesus you want to start with Him today. He will hear you. He will respond.

Just say, “Jesus, forgive me. Save me. I want You as my Savior.”

Ask God to Guard Your Heart

I want to remind you today that we shouldn’t play games with God or start thinking that our thoughts are better than His. His words bring light, and in Christ we have the promise of becoming a new creation.

Let’s walk according to His thoughts, not our own. Ask Him today for wisdom with the right intentions, trusting that God, as He says, will give it to you generously. Let the light within you remain bright and not turn to darkness. Ask God today to guard your heart and to keep you alive in Him. Ask Him to search you, as David prayed, and reveal anything within you that needs to change.

This generation needs to see His Church shining brightly again. Ask Him to deliver you from compromise and help you love Him with all your heart, your soul, your mind, and your strength.

There's Something Deep Inside You

You were crafted by God. There’s something deep inside of you, long before it ever reaches your mind that knows this truth. You came from God, and you belong to God. You were created for a relationship with Him.

That’s what happened to the thief on the cross. In a moment of agony and clarity, his heart awakened, and he said, “God, I want You as Lord of my life.” He didn’t know where that road was going to lead; he just knew he wanted Jesus. And Jesus answered, “Today you will be with Me in paradise.”

The same is true for you. You may not fully understand what it means today to follow Christ, but if you say yes to Him, He’ll lead you into a life more abundant than you can even imagine.

Say this from your heart today: “Jesus, remember me, and be Lord of my life.” He will come. He will forgive you.

You Won't Be The Same

When you give your heart to Jesus, I promise you that you won’t be the same. It may sound hard to believe, but something very real changes inside of you. Jesus Christ isn’t looking for perfection, just honesty.

He already knows your struggles. He just wants your heart. When I gave my life to Him, I found myself weeping for days. It wasn’t sadness but it was freedom. Don’t be afraid to feel something. That is what you were made for.

Jesus Christ is opening the door to you for something better: eternal life with Him and a new reason to live here and now while you are in this world. The Bible says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I can attest to you today that this is true. That’s what God will do for you. Talk to Him today. “Jesus, forgive me.”
