Guard Your Words
Mar 22, 2024 Carter Conlon

Numbers 11:1 says, “Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.” These people had been set free from captivity in Egypt. They'd been released to a place where they'd been given incredible promise. Yet they complained. Do we do that? The Bible tells us that man is born to complain. It seems so hard to praise God and focus our thoughts on what is true, right, lovely, and good. When we complain, we get overwhelmed and lose spiritual vision. When we lose spiritual vision, we begin to agree with the Devil. My friend, guard your heart, words, and mind. Above all,

it's time to pray.
