After experiencing the massive cognitive dissonance, getting called a racist, and then doing the eyeroll as I explain I have Hebrew blood in me - I realized it was too late for the convo to be productive. The only time one should be on defense is when you are baiting them into a verbal trap so you can 2x4 them with the truth.
I keep a tab open on my phone with Rev 3:9. So if they look at me in any form of disdain I show it to them while telling them these are not my words, this is what The Bible warns us of.
If need be I also remind them that God tossed the Jews into the freakin' desert to wander for 40 years because the legitimate Jews kept pissing him off with their false gods and baby sacrifices to those false gods.
"Was God being an anti-semite when he criticized the Jews and tossed them into the desert?" CRICKETS!!!
