After I read that Q post I went to Walmart, bought a one burner stove, bought dried foods, bag of freeze dried veggies, and 12 cans of fuel. We’ll get by without leaving the house for a couple months if need be. I think most anons have prepared already

I've been stocking up since the first lockdown!
You should see my cupboards, overflow cans etc sit on top. Two 5cu ft freezers always jammed full. I buy up all items when on offer.
If worse came to worst, we should survive. I have plenty of winter fuel on stock plus some wood, plenty of cash on hand too.
I can see the trouble they're brewing up with the shipping routes the shops will start to run short of some items. I have nearly two 5kg bags of long grain rice & quite a lot of pasta. I still have some carrots in the garden and hopefully some potatoes which survive the winter here. It was very hot and dry last summer so I'm not holding my breath.
Supermarkets in Germany are being boycotted, they have stores here too.
