On Thanksgiving night I got the flu (a couple of days before we ate at a restaurant in Phoenix - and I forgot to sanitize the table ugh)
I got a temp of 101°, aches, sore throat, I took echinacea with honey and a few doses of Tylenol for the aches (I am recovering from a riding accident and it seemed to target that area).
Then, as with EVERY bout of the flu I have ever had, it dropped onto my chest. So I took Niquil and had to sit up to sleep. (normal for me - I have one of those pillows with arms that helps keep me upright, so I don't cough myself stupid)
3 weeks and I was back to normal.
This is how the flu has always affected me. I have not had a bout since 1997, so it was inevitable it would catch up with me sooner or later.
The fear porn they want us to buy into is that its another virulent version if covid. I call bullshit... its the flu. The same flu that has been around since the dawn of man, the same flu that mutates annually.

Oh, I forgot, I also gargled with a 3:1 mix of Listerine and water - tell you what, it killed that sore throat DEAD.
