“They” use words very specifically for specific reasons. Just as “lawful” and “legal” are two separate words. We should be aware of that and do the same. Yes, he was “certified”. It was a “knowingly” illegitimate certification (by Pelosi/Pence); treasonous.
Other members of Congress were too brainwashed to know Trump actually won; voting Biden through.
Regardless - when on Jan 2nd, 2021, Sen Cruz led 13 other Senators and ~120 Reps requesting a 10-day delay to look further at voting irregularities in their States/Districts, it should have been supported. That’s a size-able number. They were ignored. The Electoral College vote was NOT clean, thus, no legitimacy. This is likely (of many reasons) why members are suddenly “retiring”.
Jan used an inappropriate word, “legitimate”. She is misleading people with that. (Caveat: unless it was purposeful, i.e., used the word “legitimate” so as to not distract from the other message she was imparting). I suggest she still correct it
