COMFREY is a great plant for burns, bee stings and small cuts. And the leaves are great for mulching other plants.
In the summer I use the gel from the inside of the stems. Stops the pain immediately and starts the healing.
For the winter I blend the leaves with a bit of water to form a green gel which I freeze into sticks. Place a Comfrey Stick on a piece gauze to use as a poultice and place on damaged area, wrap with gauze and the effect is similar.
When I had long hair I heated Comfrey Root and Rosemary in olive oil to give myself hot oil treatments.
