Would you share your soup recipe? It looks amazing. I’ve tried butternut and pumpkin, not yam.

Roasted winter squash soup
Sorry for the late response, distracted with all the VK leaving stuff.
-1 squash (butternut, acorn, banana or Hubbard), I used buttercup medium sized
-3 garlic heads
-1 medium yam
-1 large onion (I only used a small portion for taste)
-2 qrts chicken broth
-3 carrots peeled, sliced
1/4 cup butter
-1 tbsp dried basil (1/4 c. freshly chopped)
Salt/pepper to taste
Cook the squash-i cut it in 1/2, clean out seeds, placed in ~1" of water face down in pan & microwave covered with plastic wrap-cooks faster or you can cook in oven. Same with yam. Roast garlic heads. Combine broth, onions, carrots in stove top pot. cook till tender, add garlic. Add peeled yams + squash. Add butter + basil. Puree in small batches in blender till smooth. You can use less broth or more depending how thick you want it.

TY! I followed along from a youtube video which was pretty easy to do. Put ingredients in my mixer & used the dough hook to knead it, easy

My first loaves too! And it was really good! Will freeze most of it & make some more, maybe some with flavor, idk yet. Soup was yummy too.
