Always despised halloween activities. Frightened as a kid. Poisoned candy in my neighborhood. All devilish and ungodly. Friends love this day and dressing up, etc.

I love a costume party, NEVER liked the scary costumes, masks, devils,skeletons etc. When I was a kid we played dress-up, It was fun. So.... we change the date and make it a fun silly, beautiful event that is artful and joyful a celebration of life !. Reverse , that Ester moment ! I am an artist cant help it !.

I am older, I lived on a hill where us kids (so many on Halloween) all felt safe and knew who our neighbors were and knew the ones to stay away from. Tons of candy that we knew was safe, only good memories. But like I said above, never dressed as something scary and loved the artistry of those who made their own. I would share a photo but I cant copy and paste on AU:( HUGS
