i just have to ask..
is this practiced by most jews or confined
to a secret "order" of them?
just looked up the talmud and saw this:
Primary source of Jewish religious law??
in nearly all Jewish communities, the Talmud was the centerpiece of Jewish cultural life and was foundational to "all Jewish thought and aspirations"
The Talmud (/ˈtɑːlmʊd, -məd, ˈtæl-/; Hebrew: תַּלְמוּד, romanized: Talmūḏ) is the central text of Rabbinic Judaism and the primary source of Jewish religious law (halakha) and Jewish theology.[1][2] Until the advent of modernity, in nearly all Jewish communities, the Talmud was the centerpiece of Jewish cultural life and was foundational to "all Jewish thought and aspirations", serving also as "the guide for the daily life" of Jews.[3]

well the torah was believed by the jews to be written by God and handed to moses and the talmud was written by some fucked up Babylonian rabbis

i was only aware of the "torah" part.
never questioned beyond that.
this is likely to get 'DICEY'
time to separate FACT from FICTION
