I use rods like this to dowse for water.
My body transmits the change in the electromagnetic field water creates in the earths electromagnetic field to the rods and they react
I do not feel anything, but they react differently to still water, and running water.

So, it sounds like you are saying the person using the rods/dowsing has an effect on how they behave by acting as a conduit thru which the energy is flowing? Is that fair to say?
Like for instance, one person may be in positive polarity and grounded and get one response, while another person may be in negative polarity and ungrounded and get the opposite response to the same question>?

Got it from my Dad, Mum cannot dowse, neither can my husband.
I think it is to do with body chemistry, and ones own personal electromagnetic frequency.
Comes in very handy when you need to find an underground broken pipe or if a lot of land has water under it.
