I need someone to tell me how to get a hound on your sleep cycle. If I do the 3 mile walk, he sleeps all day, and I don’t think me taking him 3 miles in the evening will help, yeah because I’m worn out by then

You may not like this idea but have you considered another dog Chip could play with all day and give you a break? I told you about my dog who suffered anxiety attacks whenever he was left alone, until we got him a companion.
