I apologize for such a delayed update on my Uncle Bert. I didn't know what to say. The family appreciates all of your prayers so much. Unfortunately for those of us who are left here missing him, God knew it was best to take Bert home. And I fully trust God's wisdom and love. This will be a hard adjustment for his wife, but she is a strong woman and will be fine. Their dog is really sad. The timing of Bert's passing was perfect with his wife and sons around his bed holding hands reciting the Lord's Prayer. As it ended, Bert took his last breath. What a great way to usher him into the hands of God! Thank you all again.
