If you only use 'I am' affirmations you are only working with the root chakra. Each chakra has its own affirmation and 'I am' is associated with the root chakra.

So let’s go through all the chakras and their associated affirmations.

I am = root chakra
I am free to shift into peace and calm energy whenever I wish.

I feel = sacral chakra
I feel free knowing the universe has my back

I do = solar plexus chakra
I do not chase I attract.

I love = heart chakra
I love every cell in my body and they love me back.

I speak = throat chakra
I speak my truth.

I see = third eye
I see abundance all around me.

I understand = crown chakra
I understand that I am love and came from love.

Mystic Knight @MysticKnight
that is not correct
it is the intention of the practitioner that is valid
the affirmations are only to affirm and to invoke
the Chakras respond to frequency and to each its own
So the affirmation "I AM" or "I Understand" etc.. along with vocal or tonal frequency is the validation for activation for the intended Chakra. So each affirmation can be used with tone for one or more Chakra activation. Each having its own effect. If "I See" is used with the tone for the Heart Chakra, it will have a different effect when compared with the Crown Chakra and so forth.
