Shirley Temple...I grew up with her...I have collected most of her movies & the dolls to go with them. She appeared perfect on black & white t.v. in my 1950's made me strive to be perfect...I was not even close but ...that's another story...
I didn't grow up in a household where we ever heard the word love..I remember seeing my parents holding hands once...my husband was the one that always said 'I love You'🌹to me, the children, our parents.

I loved watching Shirley Temple every Saturday with my grandma. Not my real grandma when I was a child I lived on the street with my mom and at night we would sleep on her steps in the morning she would give me food. One day she invited us into her house and we never left she moved us in with her family. My mom married one of her sons and have been together since I was 12.

I very Happy ending
My family was close...7 kids in 10 years..we helped each other but never spoke of love..weird..
I would not change it for a minute how I grew up...I grew up poor but as a kid I never knew I was poor. even today I do not see the importance of money. We had a roof over our heads & food on the table..as kids we worked hard to buy for ourselves. Happy times-we had love but never said it.

I’m the oldest of 5, but I only talk to 2 of my brothers were very close. My mom has never told me she loves me even as an adult. I always say it to her but she will never say it back. My step dad tells me all the time he loves me. I make sure I tell my kids multiple times a day I love them. My childhood was hard but It made me who I am today. God has always watched over me and put the right people at the right time in my life. I’m forever thankful, and Blessed❤️❤️🌻.

🌹It's amazing how we are all alike. I am the youngest of 7. I only speak to my sister. I saw the disrespect they showed my mom so there is no hope they respect me. I walked away in 1998. One showed up for the service of my husband after his passing. We were together 48 years & married 46 years. He was like a son to my parents. They loved him but never said it. I live in Peace. There is not drama, he said she said. I do not hate them, I just live without them. My relationship is with 2 of my grandchildren, my daughter & God as the most important. We know we are loved by our Creator, that is all that matters. It is very nice to meet you.🌹
