I never understood massive houses. I can't stand being inside...why the hell would I want a giant box! Plus when I am 80 how is a guy supposed to clean a gutter in the spring or get a frisbee off the roof for the neighbor kids? Or worse yet, how in the hell is an old person supposed to clean the outside of second and third-story windows? Pride and bragging rights are damned stupid things to blow thirty years of work and hundreds of thousands of dollars paying off just so I can say "Yeah, I have a house bigger than it ever needed to be, look how fucking stupid I was with my life's energy I spent it all paying for this just to barely paid off just before I die in it and never lived a real-life because of that decades-long burden!"
