THIS IS THE ONLY AND TRUE FAMILY I HAVE.
THE INDOCTRINATED WITH MASTERS AND PHD'S HAVE ABANDONED ME YEARS AGO.

I SERVED IN THE US ARMY LONG AGO AND FACED SOME TOUGH SHIT, BUT NOT LIKE THIS.
I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR PRAYERS FROM ANYONE AT ANY TIME, UNTIL NOW.

Sending loving thoughts and prayers to you. I too came up short in the family and spouse category, and it hurts. I see posts that family is everything, but in my world it has not been. Somehow I have survived, an Empath surrounded by takers and users, sociopaths and narcissists. I have been there for them all when they needed it, thinking that is what family does, and it is the right things to do, but it never has been returned, and I now know it won't be. It is a lonely life sometimes. Take care.
