Banks are areas in Ocean, in sea bed, where fish are so numerous they can never be overfished no matter how many we fish and eat. For a long time. Then recently someone bottom trawled and poisoned oceans and now banks don't have much fish anymore. They could have enormous amounts again. Google "Grand Banks" and their history. The wealth from that fish financed and fed both sides of the Atlantic ocean. Many think "banks" are river banks guiding the current/currency flow.
