We ALL should be asking,
"Convenient to whome"
and
"Without choice, HOW can we be free?"
If AI is the be all and end all, - the questions MUST BE,
"Who gave it the prime directive, and WHAT IS IT?"
and
"Who governs it and maintains it going forward?"
These are questions that actually keep me awake at night now, as we appear to be being inexorably herded towards the corral...

Possibly, which is why I have many questions regarding the implementation and maintenance of a system like this, going forward.
pime directive - what is it, can we all agree what that would be?
governance - who decides what is, is not acceptable within the confines of that prime directive?
maintenance - who controls the back doors?
