I grew up in Bridgeton.
There is nothing left of my subdivision since it was grabbed for a boondoggle runway for the St Louis County airport.
Then we found out that the local dump had illegal dumping of Manhattan project radioactive waste that went into the water.
People got cancer and weird illnesses after they were forced to move.
