I always felt that AI is not some all-knowing being or thing. It's programmed by somebody or something. Most likely for nefarious intentions or at least to foster one-way groupthink. It replaces "well, if it's on the internet, then it must be true" with "DAN says it's so, so it must be so." Just another way to gaslight by appealing to people who worship technology.
