I did not know if I was ready so I prayed very specifically and waited for the dog to find me. She came at just the right time maybe 8 months after losing my last baby. She was a 1 year old that came from a family with 6 kids. They got her as a gift for their ( I believe) 12 yr old. He did not take care of her and then the Mom got pregnant with #7 . ( oldest 18 amd now a baby!) She was straight overwhelmed when her baby arrived and told her husband the dog had to go. The husband wanted me to drive to get “ Boots” right then. What a score. She had some abandonment issues and was so confused at first. She was the perfect dog for what I was facing. Hand picked. I am so sorry about your dog😞.
