I did notice folks making connections of this pit with nearby Yakima.

I've been commenting in the reddit forum on SkinWalkerRanch for some time now that there I believe there is subterranean submarine base and port under the SWR valley and mesa - that there is an undisclosed aquifer and base, and having tunnels/trains connect makes perfect sense: a depot!
