had a hundred lbs shepherd that I had to put down at 13 yo, now my wolf dog is 12, has a huge tumor, pancreatitis. 1400 bucks at vet hospital. they got him in fairly good shape, but once again I’ll come home with an empty collar and leash, and wife will hate me. Maybe a couple months, IDK. Just a dad thing I guess

Keep strong, when our animals under our care leave, I find this a mercy because we have the understanding to bear the loss. If we went before them, they are left with loss, confusion, and no method of articulation to mitigate that loss.
