had a hundred lbs shepherd that I had to put down at 13 yo, now my wolf dog is 12, has a huge tumor, pancreatitis. 1400 bucks at vet hospital. they got him in fairly good shape, but once again I’ll come home with an empty collar and leash, and wife will hate me. Maybe a couple months, IDK. Just a dad thing I guess

When the 'end' arrives...you will know. Your post brought a tear to me.
My German Shorthaired Pointer, lived waaaay past the basic 10-year span. I was the first human she saw when she was born, so of course, I fell in love.
She was my RIDE-OR-DIE partner for 16 years...two years ago, I had to let her go. I tried to sing her favorite song (You Are My Sunshine) as we laid on the floor...I had no idea how hard those precious moments would be.

should have seen me with my wolf and a giant Pitt, wolf thought me a pussy cause I don’t drop the leash, blood on the wolf was from me kicking the pitt, fang wounds on my thigh were from wolf trying to fight, should have dropped the leash, but tried to protect my wolf dog
