Taking Ivermectin can make you HERX.... which is the activity of killing the parasites... which, in turn creates a kind of chaos in the body.. or parasite-revolt. This can make you feel Worse for a while...while in treatment, inflammation and such. Fear not... it means the med is working correctly. "The devil makes the most noise while he is forced to leave" is what is happening. HERXING. Herxing is awful. It will happen if you have high parasite activity. I experienced it with Doxycycline for Lyme Disease that time.

Have you tried asking SSG Q or FloridaSharkman on TS? They seem to know a lot about Ivermectin. They might have the answers to the questions you have.

I understand wanting to find a good doctor. I am unsure if there are many doctors who were taught correctly. It seems most were taught to prescribe treatments not cures. There is also a guy in TS globalpalms that could help too. I would for sure start with SSG Q and FloridaSharkman they appear to be the experts on Ivermectin. I will search floridaysharkman's website and type in Crohns to see what he says.
