As amended by the Victim and Witness Protection Act of 1982, the prohibitions contained in 18 U.S.C. § 1505 are limited to: (1) obstructions of process issued under the Antitrust Civil Process Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1311-14, and under that section's omnibus clause, and (2) obstructions pertaining to pending proceedings before Congress and Federal departments and agencies. Tampering with witnesses and retaliating against witnesses and parties in connection with administrative or legislative proceedings are offenses now covered by 18 U.S.C. §§ 1512 (tampering) and 1513 (retaliation).

Effectively, Attempting to use the law to obstruct the law and prevent witness testimony, is in fact a violation of the law.

i think it was Matthew Bissanti that posted earlier today that our system was not designed for the people. The system we abide to is designed, one sided, to control the planet through any means necessary, and everything goes. It's been an experiment to see what works and what doesn't, to carry forward. If the people think anything in our justice system will rectify what's transpired, we're beyond assistance. our justice system protects its creators.
