My speaking voice is kinda soft. U wouldnt think my singing voice is raspy and its not a forced effect. Maggie May turned out good. All except the intro guitar part...often i didnt have the energy or time to perfect my parts. But the rest including solo breaks and mandolin parts are good....done on guitar tho. The singing suits my voice. I would sometimes plan on going back to better play my parts but if days went by to give my fingers a break or feeling bad for 2 or 3 days...id forget the part. And id be ready to move on. Time when ur as sick as i was is valuable and energy sparce...i did what i could do and my memory sometimes failed mid way thru a track. My memory is only now getting better but took a big hit when i was in the hospital for 31 days in '05. Lots of other songs suited my voice once i had strength in my lungs. Maggie was an early song that gave me confidence to sing. So crucial to my will to live and gave me soo much enjoyment with my new lil kitty that God sent me. 🙂
